Rose of Sharing International ministry is unique with a mission to change the life of an individual one person at a time around the world.
Destroying poverty and bring hope to others is the fuel to this ministry. Rose of Sharing works with other agencies and organizations as needed to respond to the conditions of the need of our clients. We go beyond borders, cultures, communities, countries and economic barriers.
Our ultimate goal is to make this earth a better place to live because of God's commission to us to love one another and spread the good news of the gospel.
As each one has received a special gift, we need to employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. - 1 Peter 4:10.
The Rose of Sharing's vision is to learn other cultures, share in their suffering and find aid and resources to help them toward better economic development.
Not only helping, but to understand and educate lives to prosper from poverty to wealth. Our goal is that each one should reach or touch another life.
This vision of Rose of Sharing International makes a difference to that one's living situation that we changed. The effort is not futile unless you turn your back when your brother or sister looks to you for help in their desperate situations.

Rose of Sharing International ministry helped to establish Might House of Rescue, Obuasi, Ghana West Africa. We have supported this ministry since February 2004.
Mighty House of Rescue travels to the remote sections of Ghana, West Africa to aid and assist individuals that have lost hope and are dealing with extreme poverty.
Pastor Bassey Thompson and Sister Joyce Thompson's vision for Ghana, West Africa and the world is to eradicate poverty and inspire individuals to succeed where they have lost hope for the future because of their situation.
Major needs and concerns:
Prayer teams, mission teams willing to help with building strong communities and encourage the message of the gospel to the remote areas of West Africa. Companies those are willing to aid in Technology projects, Energy conservation projects, education in the area of finance and economic growth, Community projects for youth, elderly and handicapped, and Crisis Centers for individuals facing a crisis.

THE ROSE Of SHARING GIVES PRAISES:
Since the Rose of Sharing International Ministry received its 501(c) exempt status August 2005, here is the latest.
Several families of Katrina and Rita were blessed in 2005 to have hope to face a better future in the areas of finances, counseling and just support to face the future.
A young man was able to keep his family from becoming homeless with the generous donation of our partners. Update: he has a new job, experiencing better health; wife is coping better with the counseling support gathered for her through the Rose's Resources of others in the community base and social services referrals.
A young man from Greenville, Texas was able to have support while undergoing treatment due to mental health issues. In 2006, this same man is now able to hold down a fulltime job, deal with his household issues and is serving as an empowered member of his community.
The overall result and motto for our organization for 2005 was:
"The Rose of Sharing brought the smiles back home to the family"

A personal message from the heart of the Founder of the Rose of Sharing International Min. Inc.
Growing up on the beautiful Island of Jamaica was a life of paradise surround by poverty. My home was rich with the love of a grandmother and the finance of relatives living in Canada, England, Panama and the United States of America. I did not personally experienced poverty, but my grandmother told me that today we might be rich but tomorrow we might be poor. According to Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:"
I would personally add that there are blessings in every season. I am grateful to have seen the blessings in all the seasons of 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. This experience was possible because of all the support we received from the community. Thank you and I pray that we will never forget our neighbors in our seasons and the time we are given in life to make a change or a difference in the lives of others around us that might be in need or just need someone to push them in prayer to the next level of their life. I bless you all with Faith, Hope and Love in all your future endeavors. Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2008.
